JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for ongoing analysis of multiple integrated datasets to extract value and influence business decisions. The Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining data integrity and continuous governance of Item Master via working with suppliers, research, item setup process, and variant resolution.
This role will utilize a variety of sources to support System wide cost saving initiatives, including but not limited to, Supply Chain Services information system data, group purchasing organization (GPO) resources, national and regional contracting information data, and multiple benchmarking tools.
The Supply Chain Analyst will also be the primary owner and accountant for Supply Chain revenue generating activities, including billing for services rendered to NCH partner facilities.
The Supply Chain Analyst will work with Supply Chain co-workers, Finance, other department clinical leaders, administrative leaders and supplier representatives to ensure the integrity of Supply Chain data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Other duties may be assigned.
• Develops protocols for the use of the Supply Chain benchmark analysis software, creating reports and data visualizations to guide decision-making across the supply chain team
• Drive data integrity including identifying and acquiring missing information. Item master data management via contract price management, & daily cost variance exceptions.
• Identifies and presents decision matrices of opportunities for savings to key materials and clinical staff. Partner with value analysis to analyze and identify strategic opportunities
• Collate and manage monthly Supply Chain billing and accounts receivable activities.
• Manages benchmarking tools, interpolates the software database and validates the authenticity of the data by proactively identifying inconsistencies in the data
• Foster relationship with GPO partners to improve compliance and identify strategic opportunities.
• Become subject matter expert on Materials Management Information System (MMIS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Communicate your findings effectively to all, acting as a liaison between the Supply Chain Services Department and user departments in resolving issues.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, supply chain analytics, business analytics, or a related role.
• Experience in Healthcare MMIS preferred.
• Adept at data analysis, visualization, and communication.
• Experience working with information systems and data files.
• Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
