Procurement Agent - Supplier Operations and Performance

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Operations Procurement Agent (Level 2 or 3) to join our Global Supply Chain team for Everett, WA and other locations throughout the Puget Sound!

As a Supply Chain Operations Procurement Agent at Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), you will play a critical role in managing supplier relationships and project managing all aspects of their performance, blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution.

Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills, a strong desire to learn and collaborate, and a passion for Supply Chain. This role will directly impact our operational efficiency and overall supply chain effectiveness, ultimately contributing to the success of our aircraft production and delivery. Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.

  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.

  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

  • Data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that program, customer and product strategies are integrated into supplier strategies

  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and audit requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

  • 1+ years of experience in a role which requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • 1+ years of experience leading managing projects

  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 3: 3+ years of experience with Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience with industry SAP (System Applications and Product) and/or an equivalent such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)

  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry
