The Supplier Diversity Outreach Lead drives regional outreach efforts to strengthen Michels' presence as a trusted community partner. This role leads initiatives to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse suppliers, minority and industry trade organizations, and customer diversity teams. The position is responsible for identifying and supporting diverse businesses, ensuring alignment with project-specific diversity goals, and championing Michels' commitment to supplier diversity. Success in this role requires excellent relationship-building skills, strong networking abilities, and the confidence to collaborate and present effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
The anticipated salary range is $95,000 to $124,000. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Supply Chain Management, or other related field and 5+ years of Supplier Diversity, Procurement, and/or Supply Chain Management experience, or an
    equivalent combination
  • Experience with public speaking or presenting at professional events
  • Ability to travel on short or very limited notice
  • Hold a Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD), Certified Diversity Professional (CDP), and/or Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) certificate (desired)
  • Current or previous experience serving in leadership positions for Supplier Diversity organizations (desired)
  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
