About the Role:

The Header Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the header assembly operations within a durable goods manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The supervisor will lead a team of operators and technicians, coordinating workflow and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime. They will also collaborate closely with maintenance and quality assurance teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, the Header Supervisor ensures that the manufacturing process aligns with company goals and customer expectations, driving operational excellence in the Channel, CHAN facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or mechanical fields is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong understanding of header assembly processes and durable goods manufacturing operations.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Basic knowledge of safety standards and quality control procedures relevant to manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and production tracking software.
