POSITION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for overseeing operations within a designated manufacturing zone, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic oversight to drive performance and continuous improvement across the assigned area.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
  • Manage daily operations within a specific production area, ensuring output meets quality and efficiency goals.
  • Lead and supervise area personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Monitor production metrics such as throughput, downtime, and defect rates; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (maintenance, quality, logistics) to resolve issues and optimize workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the area.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Report area performance to senior production leadership and contribute to broader operational planning.
  • All other duties assigned.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Vision and Values, Operational Framework
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams, BOMs, and instructions
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems.
  • Solid understanding of quality control, safety standards, and lean methodologies.
  • Must be able to maintain a safe working environment
  • Ability to trouble shoot and solve problems as they arise
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
