Job description

Purpose of Position:
Assist the Cage Shift Manager in overseeing Cage Cashiers and Main Bank Cashiers to ensure maximum guest service. Perform diligent safeguarding of Cage assets and strict adherence to policies, procedures and processes.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Uphold and enforce Casino guest-service standards. Handles guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
• Uphold and enforce all governmental, Casino-wide and Cage policies, procedures and processes.
• Uphold and enforce the safeguarding of confidential information and Cage assets. Monitor and control items received and released, as well as individual access, in and out of the Cage.
• Verify various Cage transactions, activities and processes for accuracy and proper execution and reporting.
• Service and maintain functionality of Cage equipment including ATMs and kiosks, and immediately report when repair work is needed.
• Ensure timely reporting and documentation of daily activities and irregular events to Shift Managers and above.
• Provide recommendations to improve service and operational efficiencies.
• Assist Shift Managers with Team Member conflict and interpersonal issues in order to ensure a productive, professional, positive and fair working environment.
• Keep Shift Manager abreast of situations that may require disciplinary action and help provide overall performance feedback.
• Ensure timely pass-down of current and pertinent information to Cashiers.
• Develop and maintain good rapport and communication with other departmental Supervisors and Managers in order to affect positive results. Manage strong, professional, rapport and relationships with guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management. Associate's degree is preferred.
One (1) year of Cash Handling and Management experience required. Banking or Title 31 experience strongly preferred.
• One (1) year of Cage Cashier experience is required. Previous Main Bank Cashier/Vault Teller experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, guest service, attention-to-detail and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
