Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Make an Impact in Your Community

Are you an LPN who thrives on meaningful work and wants to make a real difference in the lives of adults living with severe and persistent mental illness? Join Strategic Interventions — a missiondriven behavioral health provider serving communities across North Carolina.

What You’ll Do

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you’ll play a key role in supporting psychiatric and behavioral health patients in the community. You will:

  • Monitor psychiatric symptoms and screen for medical issues
  • Coordinate care with medical providers
  • Provide medication education and support to members
  • Deliver clinical care and document treatment according to nursing standards
  • Support individuals outside of traditional clinical settings
  • Participate in oncall crisis rotation as needed

This role is ideal for someone who can provide calm, compassionate care — even when working with members who may need frequent redirection.

What You Bring

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in North Carolina (required)
  • 1+ year of LPN experience in inpatient or outpatient settings
  • Experience working with adults with mental illness (preferred)
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Understanding of nursing principles, medication storage, HIPAA, and care coordination

Travel

  • Valid driver’s license & insurance required
  • Travel varies daytoday; all travel is local within the community you serve
