Rising Pre K Program
The Rising Pre-K program is a summer intensive academic support for children in the Georgia Pre K program. Our center is looking for transition program staff including Lead Teacher, Assistant Teacher and a Program Coach. These seasonal/temporary positions will help connect families to valuable resources while providing quality education for pre-kindergarten children.

  • Teacher Assistant (May 28-July 2) $3,531.68
  • Lead Teacher (May 28-July 2) $6,792.63
  • Program Coach (May 26-July 2) $3,539.20

Teacher Responsibilities:
What's it like to be a teacher at our school?
  • Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Create an engaging classroom where children can learn, play and grow.
  • Support children's social and emotional development.
  • Foster a love of learning through lesson plans.
  • Build strong partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions.

Coach Responsibilities:
  • Establish positive relationships with families, teachers, and school administrators
  • Assist the director in engaging with families to recruit children for the Summer Transition Program, emphasizing parental involvement, small teacher-student ratio, and the benefits of the program
  • Assist families in navigating the transition to the upcoming school year (Georgia's Pre-K or Kindergarten) to ensure children are ready to start the new school year
  • Provide education (training), community resources relevant to family needs, and opportunities for
    families to connect through weekly program activities
  • Offer and host a minimum of one parent/adult workshop or family engagement activity weekly
  • Manage communication to parents/families
  • Collaborate with teachers to create opportunities for families to participate

Requirements

  • At least 18-years-old for Assistant Teacher and 21 for Lead Teachers.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience working in licensed childcare.
  • Ability to pass background checks & health assessments.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
  • CDA, TCC, TCD, Paraprofessional Certificate, Associates Degree based on position.
