Position Summary
The EHS Planning Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives across regional operations. This role ensures compliance with safety regulations, strengthens emergency response systems, and supports collaboration between subsidiaries, headquarters, and external stakeholders. The position requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to drive proactive safety management, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Qualifications & Skills
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5-8 years of experience in EHS or EHS planning
  • Strong planning, coordination, and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under time-sensitive conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • 6-9 years of experience in EHS or EHS planning
  • Experience analyzing safety data and driving CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
  • Professional EHS certifications (NEBOSH, CSP, ISO 45001/14001 auditor certification)
  • Bilingual in Korean for HQ coordination

Responsibilities
EHS Planning & Program Management
  • Develop and implement regional EHS plans, including safety schedules and inspection programs
  • Maintain and manage integrated safety checklists and monitoring systems
  • Plan and coordinate self-assessments and cross-audits across subsidiaries
  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled safety inspections as needed
  • Track and verify implementation of safety improvement initiatives

Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure consistent application of EHS policies and procedures across regional operations
  • Monitor compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations
  • Analyze safety performance data and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Support continuous improvement of emergency preparedness systems

Emergency Response Coordination
  • Maintain emergency response systems, processes, and contact networks
  • Support emergency task force (TFT) coordination and response readiness
  • Ensure effective communication protocols for emergency situations

Reporting & Communication
  • Provide consolidated reporting on safety performance metrics and trends
  • Communicate EHS updates and requirements to headquarters and key stakeholders
  • Ensure smooth coordination with internal teams and external partners on EHS matters
  • Support external liaison activities related to safety and compliance

Cross-Functional Support & Training
  • Collaborate with subsidiaries and operational teams to drive safety alignment
  • Assist in the development and delivery of EHS training and awareness programs
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across all regional operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
