Department Summary

The Department of Marketing offers professional education programs to prepare individuals for the pursuit of marketing careers with manufacturers, retail and wholesale, profit and nonprofit service organizations, governmental agencies and academic institutions. Additionally, the department of marketing offers education programs in professional selling that prepares individuals with a strong desire for B2B and B2S sales, as well as business development careers.
UNT has a highly diverse campus with a wide range of languages spoken in addition to English. We welcome candidates who have experience with HSI/MSIs and/or who speak Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and other variations), Arabic, Tagalog, Farsi, French, or/and Yoruba.

Position Overview

The Department of Marketing seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester, and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on the department's teaching needs. Course/Work Assignments will vary depending on student demand and the instructor's qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in the teaching field, marketing, or closely related field. Professional experience and/or certifications may also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

A terminal degree in the discipline is preferred. Industry experience and certifications relevant to the teaching area, teaching experience at the college level, and experience with Canvas or similar online teaching platforms.
