Job description
We might have a teaching opportunity that could be of interest to you.
Some details about the course:
- One of our clients would like to have one-to-one General Tagalog classes in Honolulu, HI (96816).
- Course: General Tagalog Language Training (one-to-one).
- Total Hours: 32 hours (16 x 2-hour lessons).
- Start Date: Asap
- Schedule: Two-hour lessons, twice per week, Saturday and Sunday before noon.
- Location: Student's office or a public library in Honolulu, HI 96816.
- Level: Beginner.
- Native Language: English.
- Age Group: 25-34.
- Student's motivation: The student's mother is Filipino, and they would like to improve their Tagalog to communicate more comfortably with family and when visiting the Philippines. They currently know basic vocabulary but would like to understand grammar and develop conversational skills, with a particular focus on speaking.
- Be a native Tagalog speaker OR hold a teaching degree
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
- Have a valid working visa
- Live up to 20 miles from the client's location.
Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client's availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position, and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
