Job description

Program Manager
The Program Manager at Rock Spot Climbing is responsible for daily programming, including single-visit groups, multi-visit groups, recurring gym-related programs and event coordination. The Program Manager acts as the face of the company by being the primary contact for event organizers and parents, ensuring that the customers receive great customer service throughout the process. They will work closely with the local management team and report directly to the Gym Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • First Class Customer Service - Perform all duties associated with running the gym, including opening/closing procedures, POS interactions and basic instruction.
  • Quality Coaching - Hire, train, and maintain a team of Youth Program and Summer Program staff with a focus on continuous growth and learning.
  • Cultivate Quality Programming - Manage the unique program schedule for your location. Identify areas for growth or improvement within program schedule, and build or update classes as necessary.
  • Constant Collaboration - Regularly meet with other Managers, Marketing Specialists, and Directors to develop policies and programs that benefit all Rock Spot locations.
  • Administrative Excellence - Use multiple administrative tools to help create weekly staff schedules, coordinate program schedules, and maintain contact with repeat customers.
Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous event coordination or program management experience
  • Experience with employee scheduling

  • Experience working with youth of all ages
  • Previous indoor rock climbing and top rope belaying experience
