Job Description

Are you looking for a role where you will truly make a difference and contribute to a growing industry in Canada? ECO Canada is looking for a performance-driven individual to join the team immediately. Reporting to the Marketing Campaign Manager, the successful candidate will have a passion for the environment and experience in Marketing and Events.

As a key member of the Marketing Team, the Graphic Designer will support ECO Canada's events for internal and external marketing campaigns, including digital marketing materials and social media content.

This is a temporary, in-office role supported by funding from the Canada Summer Jobs 2026 program.

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Be between 15 and 30 years old at the start of the job
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status in Canada
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and be legally able to work in Canada

Responsibilities


  • Create visual assets for digital and print materials, including social media graphics, web banners, email campaigns, and event collateral.
  • Support brand consistency by following established brand guidelines and ensuring cohesive visual identity across all platforms
  • Collaborate with project managers, digital marketing team, and events teams to develop design concepts and support campaign objectives
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions by providing creative ideas and visual solutions
  • Revise designs based on feedback from internal stakeholders and ensure the timely delivery of final assets
  • Stay updated on design trends and tools to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of visual content.

Qualifications and Education

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Basic motion/ animation skills
  • Understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
  • Ability to create digital assets for web and social platforms.
  • Familiarity with preparing files for print and production.
  • Design optimization for different devices and formats
