Job Summary

Certificated Position Announcements

Facilitators will report to one of the ten summer school sites: BCH, DPH, FHPH, FLYH, RBDH, ELBH, SPFH, CF Taylor, BPA, and BCVS

Summer School Facilitators: Pay $32.00 per hour

Special Ed Facilitators as needed: Pay $32.00 per hour

Summer School Staff Tentative Daily Schedule 8:00 am-1:00 pm

Summer School Training: June 1, 2025, 9:00 am โ€“ 3:30 pm

Summer School Dates: June 8th - July 16th (Monday - Thursday)

Holidays: June 18th (Juneteenth observed) and July 2nd-3rd

Total = 22 days/year

Summer school for middle and high school students begins on Monday, June 8, 2026, and ends on Thursday, July 16, 2026. There are holidays on June 18th (Juneteenth observed) and July 2nd-3rd. Middle school students will attend summer school during the same dates as high school students this year.

Note: Summer school employees will be required to facilitate online computer programs for ACCESS and Edgenuity. Summer school counselor, facilitator, and administrator training is being held on June 1, 2026, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at the PAC Building in Foley, Alabama.
