Overview
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: This is an on-site position Monday - Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays and is based at Red Lobster's corporate office in Orlando, FL.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Restaurant Systems Analyst role reports to the Manager, Culinary Operations. This is a key role supporting our Operations Services Team. The individual is responsible for updating and maintaining electronic recipe documentation databases - including recipe creation and updates, programming correct units of measure (UofM) for new products, creating recipe documentation including recipes and line recipes field materials, assisting with building and maintaining culinary training materials and assisting all members of the Operations Services team with other content creation and documentation needs as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are examples of key responsibilities and are not an exhaustive list of all duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties may change depending on business needs.
  • Create and maintain electronic recipes for all menu items.
  • Set up all new ingredients ensuring yields and UofMs are accurate.
  • Responsible for building recipes in the menu system that are used for weekly financial margin reporting and monthly waste reporting.
  • Work cross functionally with the finance team and Manager, Culinary Operations with recipe costing for new and updated menu items
  • Maintain structured tracking of all current and upcoming menu initiatives.
  • Independently plan, manage, and execute system setup to support all marketing and beverage initiatives, including national promotions, tests, and core menu changes.
  • Lead alignment with restaurant operations to ensure POS setup is operationally friendly.
  • Assist the Sr. Manager, Culinary Systems with QA testing of all employee facing technology updates, upgrades and rollouts.
  • Assist in the technical writing of SOPs.
  • Assist the Manager, Culinary Operations with recipe documentation, line recipes, other culinary aids and culinary content creation as needed.
  • Work closely with the IT Help Desk to resolve restaurant support tickets and requests.
  • Assist the Manager, Operations Services with tracking and reporting on operations systems projects and initiatives across the department.
  • Assist all members of the Operations Services Team with tasks as needed.
  • Assist with operations systems related special projects as assigned, including ideation, creation, and implementation.
  • Monitor system performance and provide regular reports to their manager.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task while meeting tight deadlines with fast-paced changing priorities; excellent organization skills, ability to analyze situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Strong background in restaurant operations
  • Experience in finance, analysis, inventory management, or Restaurant systems analysis/programming a plus
  • Culinary experience a plus
  • Enterprise-level POS management experience a plus
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
2- or 4-year degree in Finance, IT, or related field preferred
