Job description

AlphaBEST Education - Summer Camp Group Leader - Wylie, TX

Pay: $15.00/hr

Summer Camp Operating Hours: 7:00 am - 6:30 pm

We offer three shifts:

7:00 am - 11:00 am

11:00 am - 2:30 pm

2:30 pm - 6:30 pm

(No weekends! Part-time)

As an AlphaBEST Summer Camp Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.

We're looking for an early learning professional who:

  • Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
  • Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
  • Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
  • Make child safety the top priority at all times
  • Keep the space clean and organized
  • Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
  • Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by the state childcare licensing agency
