Director of Child Development
Bethlehem, PA in partnership with LVHN Westgate | Full Time, Salary; Monday-Friday Flexible between 6:00am-6:00pm | $63,000 - $70,000

What is needed:
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in Child Care programming
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working with children in a professional child care setting; ages 2-6
  • Proficiency in Google and products such as excel, word, power point, etc
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Human Services or related field

The responsibilities we will trust you with:
  • Facilitating the execution of a successful Child Care program, including the interviewing, hiring and training of staff, adherence to practices which lead to a high quality experience, instilling curriculum, and parent engagement
  • Fiscal management for the facility
  • Identify and use data to inform service design and benchmark service levels to serve children
  • Direct service in classrooms as required
  • Assist with DHS compliance and licensing policies and procedures
