JOB SUMMARY
The Banquet Set-Up Crew Members will be responsible for setting up banquet rooms according to event specifications, ensuring that all furniture, equipment, and decorations are in place for successful events. We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Banquet Set-Up Crew. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Set up banquet rooms according to approved event orders (BEOs), diagrams, and supervisor direction

  • Arrange tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, podiums, buffets, and other equipment in accordance with event specifications

  • Complete room setup assignments within established timelines to ensure event readiness

  • Coordinate with banquet captains and management to confirm room readiness prior to guest arrival

  • Transport banquet equipment, furniture, and supplies safely and efficiently throughout the property

  • Properly store tables, chairs, risers, and service equipment following company procedures

  • Maintain organized and visually consistent room layouts that support event flow and guest experience

  • Remove linens, tables, chairs, and equipment efficiently following event completion

  • Sort and transport items to appropriate storage or cleaning areas

  • Reset rooms according to next-event requirements or standard configurations

  • Maintain flexibility to support multiple event setups or quick room turnovers

  • Follow uniform standards, safety guidelines, and company policies

  • Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork in high-volume or time-sensitive environments

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager , Banquet Captain or Event Coordinator.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must hold a valid M . A . S . T . Class 12 or 13 Permit (Washington state serving license)

  • Must hold a valid Washington Food Worker Card (Health & Food Safety)

  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in Food and Beverage, preferably catering

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
  • This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation .

  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 5 0 pounds on an occasional basis.

  • A ble to manipulate a full - size keg of beer (~160 pounds)

  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.

  • Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.

  • Ability to work for extended periods of time bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.

  • Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.

  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
