About the Role

Packet Digital is looking for a Hardware Engineering Intern who is excited to learn how real-world electronics are designed, built, and tested. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced hardware engineers on cutting-edge technology used in drones, satellites, and other advanced systems.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to the full hardware development lifecycle and is ideal for students or early-career engineers eager to apply classroom knowledge to real projects.


What You'll Do

With mentorship and support from our engineering team, you will:

  • Assist with circuit design, research, and basic simulations
  • Help create and review schematics and PCB layouts
  • Support prototype assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Use lab tools such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators
  • Participate in design reviews and team meetings
  • Learn best practices for documentation, design updates, and production support
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Basic understanding of electronics and circuit theory
  • Interest in hardware design and embedded systems
  • Strong curiosity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
