RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Support & Systems Management
  • Hardware Lifecycle Support: Provide general troubleshooting, repair, and deployment support for Macs, PCs, Chromebooks, iPads, and front-of-classroom technology (TVs, Apple TVs, projectors).
  • Asset Intelligence: Execute comprehensive inventory audits and tagging projects using AssetTiger and Incident IQ to ensure 100% equipment accountability across all sites.
  • System Administration Assistance: Support the Technology Team in managing core platforms, including Google Workspace, Clever, Mosyle/Meraki MDMs, and Deledao filtering.
  • Networking & Infrastructure: Assist with basic network diagnostics and hardware unlocks to ensure stable connectivity for educational platforms like NWEA and Zoom.

Project Execution & Operations
  • Multi-Site Mobility: Coordinate and execute technical tasks across multiple campuses (Oakland and San Leandro), requiring flexibility to rotate sites as project needs shift.
  • Strategic Project Contributions: Lead or support specific IT initiatives such as software audits, security updates, or workspace organization to maintain clean and functional tech offices.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear logs of technical issues resolved and provide status updates on assigned long-term projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • At least 16 years of age
  • Experience with or interest in IT Systems and Computers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment

TIME COMMITMENT
8 Weeks on site, 06/08 - 8/07, subject to candidate availability. 6-8 hours/day subject to candidate availability.
COMPENSATION
$17-23/hr commensurate with experience.
