About the Role

We are hiring Event Staff for our wedding venue. Event Staff Members play a direct and integral role in making each couple’s wedding day shine while supporting the smooth, safe, and welcoming operation of the venue.


This position is best suited for someone looking for steady, year-round, weekend work who enjoys being part of a reliable and joyful team. We invest time in training our Event Staff and value individuals who want to grow with us, so we do not hire this role on a seasonal or summer-only basis.


Scheduling & Shifts

We have three shifts for Event Staff at each of our weddings:

  • Morning Shift: 7:00am to 12:00pm
  • Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm to 6:00pm
  • Closing Shift: 7:00pm to 1:00am

Candidates must be available to work either morning and afternoon shifts or closing shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. While availability across the weekend is required, we typically schedule Event Staff on two of the three days each weekend.


Role Description

Event Staff Members support all phases of a wedding day. During the morning shift, staff help prepare the venue before the couple arrives. After a short break, Event Staff return for the afternoon shift to assist the Event Manager with transitioning the space from ceremony to reception. The final shift of the day is the closing shift, where Event Staff assist the Closing Captain with tear down and clean up as the event concludes.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet and thank guests upon arrival
  • Set tables and chairs for events or tours
  • Hang additional lighting as required
  • Hang customer items as required
  • Set out linens and fold napkins
  • Restock bathroom and kitchen supplies
  • Clear out kitchen for caterers
  • Pack up guest items if required
  • Set ceremony chairs as directed by Event Manager
  • Set outdoor furniture (screens, tables, chairs, heaters)
  • Light candles
  • Greet and direct guests
  • Move ceremony chairs
  • Other preparation as delegated by Event Manger
  • At the end of the night, assist with putting away chairs, tables, and other furniture
  • Garbage removal
