Job description

Pay rate will be $16.00 per hour. This is a seasonal position.

Are you looking for some additional income? Come join our team of cooks who bring fun foods and desserts to our campers! The Summer Camp Cook position is a seasonal position from June 7, 2026, through July 18, 2026.

Summer Camp Schedule

  • Sunday, June 7 through Saturday, June 13, 2026 (Summer Staff Training Week)
  • Sunday, June 14 through Saturday, June 20, 2026 (Summer Session 1)
  • Sunday, June 21 through Friday, July 3, 2026 (Summer Session 2)
  • Sunday, July 5 through Saturday, July 11, 2026 (Summer Session 3)
  • Sunday, July 12 through Saturday, July 18, 2026 (Summer Session 4)

Scheduled shifts (hours may change each week depending on the camp session):

The schedule consists of Monday–Friday morning shifts (7:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.) and dinner shifts (4:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m.), with occasional Saturday mornings and most Sundays.

A snapshot of what you'll do:

· Prep, cook and serve meals

· Adapt menus to those with dietary needs

· Maintain safety and sanitization standards in the kitchen and dining hall


Qualifications:

· Compassion for working with children and adults with disabilities and special needs

· High School Diploma/GED; and six months related experience and/or training

· Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen is preferred

· Ability to lift and or move up to 50 pounds

· Good knowledge of proper sanitary practices

· Punctual, responsible and self-motivated

· Food handler's certification preferred
