Tampa International Forest Products (TIFP) is a leading forest products trading company built for driven, entrepreneurial people. Our traders run their own desks - sourcing products, building relationships, analyzing markets, and closing deals. No two traders operate the same, creating a fast-paced, hands-on, business-minded environment.About the Internship
Our summer internship program gives students real exposure to the commodities trading industry. Interns work across multiple departments, gaining a broad understanding of the lumber business and what it takes to succeed as a trader at TIFP. The most successful interns are curious, motivated, and eager to learn by doing.
***This is an in-office internship (not remote).What You'll Do
  • Learn the fundamentals of commodity trading and forest products
  • Gain exposure to logistics, sales, and market dynamics
  • Build relationships and shadow experienced traders
  • Develop industry knowledge through hands-on experience
