MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Commodity Specialist located in Milwaukee, WI. Our client is an automation leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. Overview
We’re seeking an early-career professional to support procurement and commodity management activities. This role focuses on executing sourcing strategies, analyzing market trends, and supporting supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply.

Responsibilities

Support development and execution of commodity sourcing strategies

Assist in creating commodity business plans and tracking performance

Monitor market trends, pricing, and product availability

Support supplier negotiations and help build mutually beneficial partnerships

Identify and evaluate new and emerging suppliers

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide updates and insights

Maintain strong working relationships across cross-functional teams

Analyze routine procurement data and provide actionable insights

Follow established processes to support purchasing and sourcing decisions

Qualification:

Basic understanding of procurement, supply chain, or sourcing concepts

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to interpret data and follow structured processes

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment

Bachelor’s Degree (required)
