Job description

Primary Objective of Positions:
Provide NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) instruction, coaching and supervision for students in grades 3-12. Ensure a safe and fun environment for participants.
Assignment:ย ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย 
Seasonal instruction for the Minnetonka Archery Program. The program will meet four times each week (Mon. - Thurs.) from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. Dates: June 15, 2026 - August 27, 2026
Wages: ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 
Stipend starting at $300
Not medical or dental benefit eligible.
Job Responsibilities:









  1. Provide leadership and guidance for the archery participants.
  2. Provide instruction and coaching, following NASP guidelines. Collaborate with assistant coaches to organize, set up, and ensure safe practices.
  3. Help all participants to develop to their full potential.
  4. Maintain and upkeep archery equipment.
  5. Follow all NASP guidelines.
  6. Implement program philosophies, goals, policies and procedures.
  7. Ensure that all participants follow Minnetonka School District guidelines and code of conduct.
  8. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  9. Promote sportsmanship and respect for officials, teams, parents, fans, athletes, administrators and fellow competitors.ย 


Job Qualifications:

  1. Certified or willing to become NASP certified in coaching archery.
  2. Prior experience in archery preferred.
  3. Evidence of successful coaching experience; ability to teach fundamental skills.
  4. Positive, enthusiastic, respectful attitude.
  5. Strong communication skills.
  6. Proven ability to work with students, parents, and staff.
  7. Commitment to program's high standards.
  8. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
