Center Director
At Code Ninjas our mission is to provide a safe environment where kids ages 5-15 can learn to code while having fun. We are looking for a resourceful, self-starting educational and sales leader to be the Center Director and successfully manage all aspects of a customer-focused business at our centers located in the Minneapolis area. This ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, entrepreneurial and organizational skills to successfully operate a learning center through marketing, sales, instructional leadership, parent communication, staff management, and effective administration.

Super Flexible Shifts & Hours Available:
  • After School 2:30-9:00 Mon-Fri
  • Saturdays 9:00-1:00
  • Saturdays 1:00-5:00 (D&D and Clubs) Saturdays 5:00-9:00 (Parent Night Out events)
  • Sunday 12:00-4:00 and special events
  • Summer Camps 7:30-12:00 & 12:00-3:30 (all summer long)

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee all aspects of daily center operations.
  • Manage all aspects of the customer's experience.
  • Meet and/or exceed monthly retention goals.
  • Meet and/or exceed monthly enrollment goals.
  • Present a polished and compelling sales message to parents resulting in robust student enrollment.
  • Set goals with the Owner/Operator to drive sales growth.
  • Plan and execute effective onsite and offsite lead generating events.
  • Plan and execute effective onsite revenue generating programs and events.
  • Manage incoming lead communication to schedule tours.
  • Effectively deliver pre-enrollment tours to increase enrollment.
  • Manage aspects of Marketing including creating content associated with weekly and daily communications as needed utilizing MailChimp, Canva, LineLeader, MyStudio, SOCi, Twillow, Google My Business, Facebook, InstaGram, Twitter and other platforms of social and lead generation media.
  • Foster relationships with local schools, organizations and institutions to drive brand awareness.
  • Engage with children and families in the center.
  • Can build rapport with staff that reports to you.
  • Upholding corporate standards with respect to center cleanliness & operational standards.
  • Opening /Closing the center as needed.
  • Keep Center, its equipment, supplies, office, lobby, dojo, breakroom and restroom in a clean, presentable and organized manner
  • Willingness to learn from and communicate with Corporate Home Office management.
  • Oversee staffing needs by recruiting and hiring qualified candidates.
  • Oversee new hire and ongoing training of staff.

Qualifications:
  • Must enjoy working with kids and ability to communicate and dialogue with adults (parents)
  • Must and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to multitask.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in a management or supervisory role.
  • Experienced in overseeing daily operations in a customer focused business.
  • Ability to successfully manage the sales process from lead generation to enrollment.
  • Familiar with MS Office, email and social media marketing platforms.
  • Working history with children ages 5 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring etc.)
  • Experience working with the general public
  • Interest or Experience in teaching, mentoring or childcare
  • Works well with others, collaborates and is fun!
  • Some knowledgeable about coding and technology; or able to quickly pick up basic concepts
  • Experience with: Coding, FLL (First Lego League), Minecraft, Roblox, Dungeons & Dragons, 3D Printing, Rocket League, Fortnite Mario Cart and other kids STEM engaging activities is a plus!
