Elite Sports Clubs- River Glen is on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team as Camp Counselors for SCAMP!

As a SCAMP Counselor, you'll be the superhero behind the scenes, guiding campers through epic adventures and helping them unlock their full potential.

You'll be the architect of confidence, the maestro of friendships, and the navigator of interpersonal adventures! Help campers build self-confidence, forge bonds, and tackle conflicts head-on through a range of exciting activities.
Friendship Forging Specialist:
Spend your summer fostering trust, understanding, and camaraderie within your assigned age group. It's not just about being a counselor-it's about becoming a trusted ally and friend!
Safety Superhero:
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to ensure the well-being and safety of our campers at all times. From group movements to mealtime mayhem, you'll be the guardian angel ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Problem-Solving Pro:
Got a knack for cracking tough nuts? As a Camp Counselor, you'll be the ultimate puzzle master, identifying issues, brainstorming solutions, and saving the day with your quick thinking and good judgment.

Required Skills:
  • Must have experience working with kids of all ages
  • Problem Solver
  • Self-Starter
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills
  • Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks by deadlines
  • Ability to perform job duties with limited supervision/direction after training has been completed.
  • Must produce a high quality of product/work and remain focused in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions.
  • First Aid and CPR/AED certification (Child, Infant and Adult)

Physical Requirements:
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Walk up and down 4 flights of stairs at a time
  • Spend up to 6 hours outside in direct sunlight
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Able to swim with the children for 45 minutes/day
