Key Responsibilities

As the Administrative Assistant, you'll serve as the hub of the office, helping keep client work moving efficiently from start to finish. Responsibilities include:

  • Welcome clients and answer incoming phone calls
  • Coordinate tax workflow and track projects through completion
  • Prepare engagement letters and client correspondence
  • Release electronic tax returns using workflow software
  • Process invoices as returns are completed
  • Organize incoming and outgoing mail
  • Track client documents and workflow deadlines
  • Record payments and prepare occasional bank deposits
  • Provide administrative support to Partners and tax professionals
  • Occasionally visit the bank, post office, FedEx, or UPS as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative experience in an office environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Comfortable learning new software systems
  • Friendly, professional, and dependable
  • Ability to work 100% in-office
