Confirm settlement funds are received and cleared prior to payment.
Partner with accounting/trust teams to process payments to clients and third parties.
Clearly explain settlement breakdowns to clients in a professional and understandable manner.
Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready documentation for every file.
Close out cases once all payments and documentation are finalized.

A detail-obsessed operator with zero tolerance for financial errors.
Strong ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in one of the following:

  • Insurance claims (bodily injury or similar)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information.
Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads and meet deadlines.
    Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience preparing settlement statements.
Familiarity with medical liens and subrogation processes.
Experience working with trust accounting or legal financial workflows.
Background in a high-volume personal injury firm.

Why this role?

Direct impact on firm revenue and cash flow-your work ensures cases close and funds are collected
High ownership role managing the final and most critical stage of the case lifecycle
Fast-paced, execution-focused environment with clear expectations
Opportunity to work closely with legal and finance teams
Be part of a team that values accuracy, speed, and accountability

Compensation & Work Environment

Full benefits package (health, PTO, etc.)
Hybrid work environment (in-office onboarding with flexibility after ramp-up)
Collaborative, high-performance team culture

What Success Looks Like

Settlements are disbursed quickly (typically within 10-20 days)
Settlement statements are consistently 100% accurate
All liens are resolved prior to payment
Files are closed cleanly with complete documentation
Attorneys and paralegals are not pulled into disbursement issues
