We are adding an Engineering Manager to our environmental engineering group in Eden Prairie, MN. This position is responsible for leading the technical advancement of the industrial controls group as directed by BU Management. Develop technical tools to create efficiencies and consistency across the BU and with clients. Ensure staff are keeping up with technology and regularly attends training courses. Train and mentor staff to adhere to best practices in the industry.

Technical Focus

  • Establishes, maintains, and communicates engineering standards
  • Ability to identify and evolve the company’s and business unit’s technical competencies with industry trend and stay up to date with the current and emerging technologies
  • Provides technical program and guidance within the business unit
  • Implements effective and innovative technological solutions
  • Researches and proposes new technical vision, architectural solutions, and new technologies
  • Provides quality program leadership and audits
  • Go-to expert for BU in one or more technical area(s)
  • Serves as the technical specialist for the organization in the application of advanced concepts, principles, and methods in an assigned area
  • Proactively plans, schedules, and/or leads the preparation of technical deliverables for multiple major projects
