Job description

Scope:  This position assists study abroad advisors in overseeing and administering outbound study abroad opportunities. This employee will:
Answer general student questions via email and in person.

  • Triage questions from students, parents, and other stakeholders, to advisors as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the EA/GEO team to market study abroad opportunities through social media, events, and print marketing
  • Help students coordinate the academic side of their study abroad experience including course registration and transfer credits
  • Maintain program information on study abroad website, ViaTRM software system, and social media
  • Facilitate applications for independent travelers and study abroad students
  • Co-coordinate program logistics, orientations, events, and recruiting
  • Manage projects as assigned
  • Uphold confidentiality of student records
  • Hold daily office hours as scheduled
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with all colleagues, students, and parents; provide outstanding partner and
  • Student support; and display a collaborative attitude while performing all duties.
