Part-Time Studio Manager & Lead InstructorKidcreate Studio Bethesda is looking for an energetic, organized, and creative leader to help grow our studio and inspire the next generation of young artists and innovators.
If you love working with children, enjoy leading a team, and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, we'd love to meet you.
As our Part-Time Studio Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in the daily operations of the studio while also teaching engaging art and STEAM classes for children ages 18 months through 12 years. You'll help create memorable experiences for families, support our instructors, and ensure every class, camp, party, and event reflects the exceptional Kidcreate experience.
What You'll Do
Studio Leadership & Operations
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the studio
  • Open and close the studio as needed
  • Ensure classrooms and common areas are clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Maintain art supply inventory and assist with ordering materials
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, and studio logistics
  • Help oversee birthday parties, workshops, camps, and special events
  • Provide exceptional customer service to families in person, by phone, and via email
  • Assist with invoicing and administrative tasks
  • Help maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children and staff
Teaching & Program Development
  • Teach art and STEAM classes for children ages 18 months–12 years
  • Lead camps, workshops, birthday parties, and special events
  • Help plan and prepare lesson materials and classroom activities
  • Collaborate on developing new classes, seasonal programs, and creative project ideas
  • Ensure every class is fun, educational, and developmentally appropriate
Team Leadership
  • Help recruit, onboard, train, and mentor instructors
  • Provide coaching and support to ensure high-quality programming
  • Foster a collaborative, positive team culture
  • Serve as the studio leader when the owner is unavailable
Community & Growth
  • Support marketing initiatives and community events
  • Build relationships with schools, PTAs, and community organizations
  • Help increase enrollment in classes, camps, and birthday parties
  • Represent Kidcreate Studio professionally within the community
