What is a studio operations assistant?

Studio Operations Assistants are support professionals who help manage the daily activities within a studio environment, such as film, photography, or broadcast studios. Job description

Rare opportunity to join Porsche Studio Portland as a Product Specialist & Events Host!

Pay Range: $24-27 per hour plus events commission up to $1,500 per month

Porsche Studio Portland is seeking a polished, highly engaging, and customer-focused Product Specialist / Events Host to join our team in the Pearl District at 1432 NW Johnson St, Portland, OR 97209. This is a unique opportunity to represent one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands in a setting designed around product discovery, luxury hospitality, brand storytelling, organic social media, and community-facing events.

Porsche Studio Portland is not a traditional dealership environment. It is an immersive brand destination where guests experience Porsche through conversation, design, product education, studio tours, café and boutique hospitality, curated events, and social media content that brings the Studio experience to life. As a Product Specialist / Events Host, you will help create exceptional first encounters with the Porsche brand while supporting the daily guest experience, event execution, and organic social media presence of the Studio.

This is an ideal role for someone with a background in luxury automotive, premium retail, hospitality, events, clienteling, experiential marketing, or social media who can combine product knowledge, warmth, professionalism, creativity, and operational follow-through.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests to Porsche Studio Portland in a professional, polished, and engaging manner.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable brand host, helping guests experience Porsche through product education, design storytelling, and meaningful conversation.
  • Lead product demonstrations across the Porsche lineup, including design, performance, technology, craftsmanship, electrification, and ownership considerations.
  • Host studio tours for walk-in guests, appointments, community partners, private groups, and event attendees.
  • Support guest appointments, demo-drive readiness, product displays, and post-visit follow-up routing.
  • Assist with venue bookings, event preparation, RSVP tracking, vendor communication, guest flow, setup, breakdown, and day-of event execution in partnership with the Porsche Studio Manager.
  • Represent Porsche during studio activations, local community engagements, partner events, and special programs.
  • Create and support organic social media content from the Studio, including short videos, photos, posts, stories, and other content highlighting the Porsche brand, product offerings, Studio events, café offerings, boutique merchandise, and guest-facing experiences.
  • Appear in or help host short-form social media content in a professional, natural, and brand-appropriate manner.
  • Help identify timely, relevant, and visually compelling social media opportunities throughout daily Studio operations, events, vehicle displays, product moments, café activity, and boutique presentations.
  • Maintain accurate guest notes, appointment records, CRM documentation, and internal handoff information.
  • Help ensure the Studio remains guest-ready at all times, including opening and closing support, merchandising resets, collateral preparation, café/boutique presentation support, and general presentation standards.
  • Provide clear, confident, and helpful answers to guest questions without relying on pressure tactics or traditional sales language.
  • Partner with Porsche Beaverton sales, service, parts, boutique, café, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure a seamless guest experience and consistent brand presentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Porsche vehicles, brand history, product technology, ownership benefits, Studio programming, café offerings, boutique merchandise, and current content opportunities.
  • Participate in Porsche training and professional development programs to continually improve product fluency, guest experience skills, and brand representation.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in luxury automotive, premium retail, hospitality, events, clienteling, experiential marketing, social media, or another high-touch customer-facing environment.
  • Strong interest in Porsche, performance vehicles, design, engineering, technology, luxury brand experience, and lifestyle content.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical product information in clear, human, and compelling language.
  • Social media savvy, with a practical understanding of what makes short-form content engaging, polished, and brand-appropriate.
  • Comfortable interacting with the public through organic social media, including appearing in short videos, helping create posts, and representing the Studio in a professional online voice.
  • Comfortable hosting guests, leading tours, conducting product walkarounds, and speaking with individuals or small groups.
  • Professional, composed, and hospitality-forward style appropriate for a premium brand environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when supporting appointments, events, social content, and multiple guest interactions.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative with the Studio Manager and broader Porsche Beaverton team.
  • Comfort with CRM systems, appointment scheduling tools, guest documentation, follow-up processes, and basic social media content workflows.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and event support.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Porsche or luxury automotive experience.
  • Experience supporting events, venue operations, brand activations, or private client experiences.
  • Familiarity with EV charging, modern vehicle technology, and premium ownership questions.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality, boutique retail, concierge service, lifestyle brand environments, or social media content creation.
  • Experience creating organic social media content for a premium brand, retail environment, hospitality business, automotive brand, café, boutique, or event venue.
  • Interest in Portland’s design, arts, culture, food, retail, or community event scene.

We offer the following benefits:

  • Competitive compensation plan.
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, with optional supplemental coverage for additional peace of mind.
  • Life insurance coverage.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) after 90 days of employment.
  • Paid holidays.
  • Career growth and advancement opportunities within the Sunset family of dealerships.
  • Paid manufacturer certification and training programs.
  • Employee vehicle purchase and service discount programs.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.

If you are looking for the opportunity to represent Porsche in a distinctive studio environment built around hospitality, product knowledge, events, social media, and brand experience, then apply today.
