Job description

JETSET Pilates is where high-energy movement meets modern luxury. Rooted in Miami and expanding across Metro Detroit, our studios deliver a 50-minute, full-body, high-intensity Pilates experience in a sleek, elevated environment designed to feel like a first-class escape.

Every detail—from expert instruction and DJ-curated playlists to premium equipment and the studio atmosphere—is intentionally designed to inspire results, confidence, and community.

About the Role

We’re looking for an exceptional Director of Operations to lead and scale JETSET Pilates studios across Metro Detroit.

This multi-unit leadership role will oversee multiple studio locations, with responsibility for operational performance, General Manager leadership and development, studio growth, and the successful execution of new studio openings.

As Director of Operations, you will ensure each studio operates at the highest level of performance, consistency, and client experience while building the systems, leadership, and accountability needed to support continued growth.

This is a high-impact role for a hands-on, results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is energized by developing people, improving performance, and building a best-in-class multi-unit fitness operation.

What You’ll Do
Multi-Unit Performance & Operations
  • Own operational performance across all studio locations, with a focus on revenue, membership growth, utilization, retention, lead conversion, labor efficiency, and profitability.

  • Establish clear performance expectations and maintain a consistent operating cadence across all locations.

  • Analyze studio KPIs and business trends to identify opportunities, address performance gaps, and develop actionable strategies for improvement.

  • Ensure consistent execution of JETSET operating procedures, systems, policies, and brand standards across every location.

  • Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to support smooth and efficient day-to-day studio operations.

Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and manage General Managers, creating a high-performing and accountable studio leadership team.

  • Set clear expectations for General Managers and regularly evaluate performance against studio goals, KPIs, and operational standards.

  • Develop General Managers as business leaders, strengthening their ability to manage their teams, drive sales, improve retention, and take ownership of studio performance.

  • Partner with General Managers on staffing strategy, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and team development.

  • Build a strong leadership pipeline to support future studio growth and expansion.

  • Foster a positive, performance-driven culture rooted in accountability, communication, collaboration, and the JETSET brand.

Sales, Membership & Client Experience
  • Drive studio-level sales execution to support membership growth, lead conversion, retention, and overall revenue goals.

  • Hold studio leadership accountable for consistent lead management, follow-up, sales activity, and conversion.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the client journey and increase long-term engagement and retention.

  • Ensure every studio consistently delivers an elevated client experience aligned with JETSET’s premium brand standards.

  • Partner with studio leadership to recognize trends in client feedback and implement solutions that strengthen the overall experience.

New Studio Openings & Growth
  • Lead the operational execution of new studio openings across Metro Detroit.

  • Partner with ownership and JETSET HQ teams throughout the pre-opening process to ensure operational readiness and alignment with brand standards.

  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, presales readiness, staffing, and operational launch preparation for new locations.

  • Support new studios through opening and stabilization, ensuring a strong transition into ongoing operations.

  • Partner with ownership on expansion strategy and provide operational insight into future locations, staffing needs, infrastructure, and market growth.

Marketing & Local Community Growth
  • Collaborate with ownership, General Managers, and marketing partners to execute local marketing strategies that drive awareness, leads, memberships, and community engagement.

  • Support pre-opening marketing and presales initiatives for new studios.

  • Ensure studio teams consistently execute local grassroots marketing, partnerships, events, and community-building initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen JETSET’s presence and reputation within each local market.

Facilities & Operational Excellence
  • Oversee facilities, equipment, and vendor management across locations to maintain safe, clean, premium studio environments.

  • Ensure operational issues are addressed quickly and effectively with minimal disruption to the client experience.

  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and team structures across locations while balancing operational needs and labor efficiency.

  • Implement and maintain SOPs, reporting tools, and scalable systems that create consistency across the organization.

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven multi-unit leadership experience in boutique fitness, hospitality, retail, wellness, or another high-touch consumer-facing business.

  • Experience directly managing and developing General Managers or other location-level leaders.

  • Experience opening new locations and/or leading multi-site operational rollouts.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue, sales performance, operational efficiency, and team accountability.

  • Strong understanding of KPIs with the ability to analyze performance, identify trends, and translate data into action.

  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across several locations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Clear, confident communicator with a polished and professional presence.

  • High ownership mentality with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with POS and studio management systems, reporting tools, and standard business software; Mindbody experience preferred.

  • Passion for health, fitness, hospitality, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

  • Flexible availability, including some early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed to support studio operations, events, and new openings.

  • Ability and willingness to travel between studio locations and support new openings as needed.

  • Enthusiasm for JETSET Pilates and commitment to representing the brand at the highest level.

About This Opportunity
