Administrative Assistant

Location: Bonnyville, AB

Position Type: Full-Time, Immediate Opening

Schedule: Start/end times and part-time hours are negotiable for the right efficient candidate.


Role Overview

Warco Industrial is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their team in Bonnyville. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting their day-to-day office operations, managing accounts receivable and payable, maintaining payroll records, and working closely with our administrative team to ensure smooth office workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (A/R)

  • Create customer invoices accurately and upload them to various client portals, including Open Invoice, GEP, SAP, and Pandell.

  • Maintain and update the internal A/R spreadsheet in Excel.

  • Post A/R payments and match incoming payments to corresponding invoices.

Accounts Payable (A/P)

  • Process and enter A/P invoices into the accounting system.

  • Reconcile vendor and accounts payable statements.

  • Collect and post company Visa receipts, reconciling them against monthly credit card statements.

Payroll & Administrative Support

  • Accurately enter timesheet and field ticket data into Excel tracking spreadsheets.

  • Manage general office filing, document organization, and administrative records.

  • Collaborate closely with the broader administrative team to support daily business operations.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Prior administrative, invoicing, or basic bookkeeping experience preferred.

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Hands-on experience with industry invoicing platforms (Open Invoice, GEP, SAP, Pandell) is a strong asset.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with team members.
