Job description

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Property Maintenance & Landscape Technician to help maintain our residential and commercial properties to the highest standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for landscaping, lawn care, shrub and tree maintenance, seasonal property cleanups, pressure washing, window cleaning, and general building upkeep.


This hands-on role includes operating landscaping equipment, maintaining the appearance and safety of properties, performing minor repairs, and assisting with routine maintenance projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well independently, and is committed to ensuring our properties remain clean, attractive, and well-maintained year-round.

Compensation:

$30,000 - $50,000


Responsibilities:
  • Perform lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and general lawn care services.
  • Plant, water, maintain, and replace flowers, shrubs, trees, and landscape materials as required.
  • Trim and prune trees, hedges, bushes, and shrubs to maintain property appearance.
  • Complete seasonal property cleanups, including spring and fall maintenance.
  • Operate landscaping equipment safely, including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and pressure washers.
  • Perform pressure washing of sidewalks, parking lots, building exteriors, entrances, and other common areas.
  • Clean exterior and interior windows as required.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of building entrances, walkways, parking lots, and outdoor spaces.
  • Remove weeds, litter, debris, and unwanted vegetation from property grounds.
  • Conduct routine inspections of properties and report maintenance concerns.
  • Perform minor handyman repairs, including painting, drywall patching, caulking, fixture replacement, and basic building maintenance.
  • Assist with building upkeep, preventative maintenance, and property improvement projects.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and supplies are maintained in good working condition.
  • Support snow removal, ice control, and winter property maintenance activities when required.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Take pride in maintaining all properties to a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
  • Clean properties, buildings, floors, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, property maintenance, building maintenance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience operating landscaping equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and pressure washers.
  • Knowledge of lawn care, planting, shrub maintenance, tree trimming, and seasonal landscaping practices.
  • Basic handyman skills, including minor repairs, painting, drywall patching, caulking, and general property upkeep.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high property standards.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between properties when required.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
  • WHMIS, First Aid, or other maintenance-related certifications are considered an asset.
  • Experience with commercial and residential property maintenance is considered an asset.
