Job description

Our client runs the world's fastest growing boutique fitness brand. 100+ studios. 14 countries. Pilates Inspired. Cardio Infused. It's a full-body workout that fuses Pilates, cardio and strength into one 45-minute session: Row. Ride. Reform.

Opening in Fall 2026, they are bringing the world's only cardio-integrated reformer format to one of South Calagary’s established and accessible communities. Surrounded by local amenities and serving a wellness-focused clientele, our Studio aims to offer welcoming environment dedicated to movement, connection and exceptional client experience.

This is a role in two phases. Before we open, you are a builder — driving the founding member pre-sale campaign, securing corporate wellness partnerships with local businesses and establishing the brand and studio before a single class is taught. Working closely with the Studio owner and the Franchisor. Once open, you are the operator and instructor — leading a high-performing studio team, owning membership retention, delivering the brand experience every day and teaching few classes per week. We want someone who is energised by all of it.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Launch

• pre-sale campaign — generating, nurturing and converting leads

• Build corporate wellness partnerships with businesses and residential buildings in the neighbourhood.

• Establish relationships with local community organizations, and neighbourhood partners

• Work closely with the founding directors to shape the studio's community identity before opening

• Owning and handling social media account like Instagram

Membership & Sales

• Own membership acquisition — converting walk-ins, enquiries and corporate leads into members

• Drive retention through genuine member relationships and proactive follow-up

• Track membership numbers, class utilization and revenue against targets

Community & Client Experience

• Welcome every client by name and build the community culture that defines the brand globally

• Maintain accurate member profiles and ensure every interaction is personal and consistent

Studio & Operations

• Take ownership of every detail of the studio environment — equipment setup, lighting, presentation and atmosphere — so every member's experience matches the brand standard

• Manage day-to-day operations — client enquiries, scheduling, staff rostering, social media and newsletters

• Manage studio systems via Hapana software — check-ins, memberships, payments and reporting

• Lead, motivate and develop the instructor team

Teaching

• Deliver 5-6 classes per week to a high standard once Academy certified

• Provide confident cueing and form correction throughout every session

Requirements

• Two plus years of proven experience in a client-facing, sales and fitness leadership role

• Strong commercial instincts — you know how to convert a conversation into a commitment

• Confident building relationships with businesses and organizations — corporate outreach experience is a plus

• Excellent communicator, highly organized, with genuine warmth with people

• A background in fitness or movement — Pilates, reformer, personal training or group fitness

• Social media Savvy and local marketing experience

• Current First Aid certification

• Self-motivated and comfortable with real accountability

• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings and weekends

Benefits

• Base salary plus performance bonus tied to membership targets

• Academy instructor certification fully funded

• Free membership from day one

• Ongoing mentoring and support from the founding directors

• The chance to open and shape a brand new studio from scratch in one of Calgary’s most established neighbourhoods
