What we offer

As the Design Studio Associate you will provide excellent customer service and assistance to homeowners during open house hours while striving to provide The Best Homeowner Experience.

What you'll do

  • Offer excellent customer service and assistance to homeowners during browsing hours.
  • Provide tours of the showroom while pointing out features and available options.
  • Assist with color selections, identify customer needs in style and individual requirements and answer design related questions.
  • Accept payments and processing paperwork.
  • Ensure samples are tidied up and placed in appropriate locations.
  • Complete weekly check of product inventory.
  • Assist the Design Studio Open House Team Lead in labeling and re-organizing the products.
  • Assist with reselects or discontinued products.
  • Answer homeowner questions.
  • Keep up with product knowledge.

What you bring

  • Completion or enrollment in an Interior Design or Architecture diploma or degree program
  • Prior customer service knowledge is essential
  • Excellent command of the English language and good listening skills
  • Strong customer service background
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Computer literacy with experience in MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle a problem situation.
  • Must be able to multi-task and help multiple homeowners at once
  • Must have the ability to understand price charts, floor plans and design guides
  • High degree of professionalism and etiquette is required
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends:
    • Wednesday 5:30pm-8:30pm
    • Saturday & Sunday 9:30am-5:30pm
