FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

Job Summary
  • Generate Revenue by selling a suite that includes local linear powerhouse Fox 29 along with cutting-edge digital advertising solutions across our key brands, including FLX, FOX Local, TUBI, FOX Sports, and FOXNEWS.com, as well as unique multi-screen promotional sponsorships tied to Philadelphia's biggest events.
  • Drive New Business Growth by developing and implementing sales strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed goals, leveraging the massive reach of our local news and elite sports blocks.
  • Cultivate Client Relationships by meeting and communicating regularly with local business owners and agencies to maintain strong partnerships and expedite the closing process.
  • Lead the Sales Process by presenting, negotiating, and developing unique advertising packages that capitalize on our hyper-local, "Authentically Philly" identity.
  • Manage Accounts efficiently, including processing transactional business, developing advertising schedules with station personnel, and ensuring the timely completion of all administrative tasks.
  • Maintain Professional Communication with station and corporate management to ensure seamless execution of multi-platform campaigns.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience & Education: A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in Video Advertising Business Development and Sales. A college degree is preferred.
  • Business Acumen: Digital and Linear ad sales savvy with a proven track record of developing new business and achieving measurable success.
  • Philly Grit: A skilled negotiator and motivator capable of managing complex deals and driving accounts from lead to close in a competitive Top 5 market.
  • Communication & Technology: Excellent organizational, time management, and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with computers and cloud-based applications is required; WideOrbit experience is a plus.
  • Forecasting: Ability to accurately forecast revenue based on pipelines and pending deals.

Additional Details
  • The on-target earnings for this position, salary plus commissions, are $150,000-175,000 annually.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain reliable transportation and have a valid, local driver's license.
  • Local travel and entertainment are required to build face-to-face rapport with the Philly business community.
  • Fox 29 is a 24/7 operation; flexibility to work varied hours is required.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $87,500.00 annually. This role is also eligible for a sales incentive/commission compensation plan, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
