Job description

About Us

At Cast & Crew, we've empowered creativity and supported the global entertainment industry for decades. Together with our family of brands - Backstage, CAPS, Checks & Balances, Final Draft, Media Services, Sargent-Disc, and The TEAM Companies - we operate as a combined entertainment technology and services provider offering industry standard screenwriting accounting software, digital payroll products, data & reporting, and a host of creative tools. The industry continues to move faster than ever, and the need for our expertise, our technology, and our people has never been greater. We are a production's best ally every step of the way.#OneCastOneCrew

Cast & Crew is looking for a driven, relationship-first Account Executive to grow revenue across our Film, Television & Streaming business. This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role focused on winning new production relationships and expanding existing ones - positioning Cast & Crew as the go-to partner for payroll, production accounting, and back-office services across studios, streamers, production companies, and independent producers.
You know how productions get made, who holds the relationships, and how to earn trust before a greenlight hits. You combine consultative selling with disciplined pipeline management, and you thrive in a long-cycle, relationship-driven sales environment.

Key Qualifications

  • Deep familiarity with Film, Television & Streaming production workflows - you understand the ecosystem and know how studios, streamers, and production companies actually operate
  • Experience working with or selling to production accountants, line producers, UPMs, finance executives, or studio operations teams
  • Proven ability to build relationships that convert into revenue - and sustain them across multiple productions and seasons
  • Strong pipeline discipline with the ability to forecast accurately and manage opportunities across varying production timelines
  • Comfortable operating independently in a remote or hybrid environment while collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Success, and Product teams
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable CRM platforms

What You'll Do

  • Own an individual revenue target spanning new logo acquisition and expansion of existing studio and production company relationships
  • Develop and maintain a strong presence across the Film, Television & Streaming ecosystem - building trusted relationships with production accountants, line producers, UPMs, finance leaders, and studio executives
  • Get into productions early - identify greenlit and in-development projects, qualify opportunities, and position Cast & Crew before decisions are made
  • Take a consultative approach with clients, connecting their production and operational challenges to Cast & Crew's payroll, accounting, and technology solutions
  • Manage a healthy, forecast-ready pipeline with visibility across production stages, deal cycles, and revenue timing
  • Represent Cast & Crew at industry events, screenings, guild functions, and production community gatherings where relationships are built
  • Partner with Operations, Customer Success, and Finance to ensure smooth onboarding and an excellent client experience from sale through production close
  • Feed market intelligence back into the business - surfacing competitive dynamics, client feedback, and production trends that inform go-to-market strategy

What You'll Bring

  • 3-6 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales, business development, or strategic account role - ideally within entertainment, media, production services, or a related industry
  • A track record of consistent revenue attainment across both new business and account expansion
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying environments with long sales cycles
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills - you lead with insight, not just product
  • Experience in production, contingent labor, freelance workforce, or project-based business environments is a meaningful plus

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a variable compensation program with an on-target annual value of $180,000. Variable compensation is subject to the terms of the applicable plan and may be modified from time to time.
