Position Description
The Admissions Visits Coordinator is responsible for assisting with individual and group campus visits. Reporting to the Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions, this individual will join an enthusiastic and vibrant Undergraduate Admissions Team at a growing Christian university. This role is responsible for ensuring that students and their families have positive, welcoming, and well rounded experiences during their campus visit. This position will require working occasional nights and weekends.
Position Responsibilities
? Responsible for planning and coordinating campus visits for prospective students and their families.
? Manage the Visitation Center, welcoming all visitors with the highest level of customer service, and continuously seek ways to meaningfully improve the experience for campus guests
? Create comprehensive visitation schedule, and oversee logistics for daily group and individual visits
? Work collaboratively with counselors, coaches, and professors to personalize visitations
? Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for visit scheduling, tracking, and trends
? Collaborate with communications team to market student visit opportunities and ensure communication items are accurate
? Prepare reports surrounding efficacy of campus visitation, and analyze data to support decision making
? Ensure campus and Visitation Center are prepared for visits, including restocking inventory, certifying cleanliness, and placing proper signage
? Communicate effectively with prospective students and admissions counselors, including confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling
? Maintain Admission and Visit calendar to reflect accurate visit availability and adequate coverage for student visits
? Assist with supervision of 10-20 student ambassadors responsible for providing campus tours and administrative duties in-office
? Correspond with high schools, and mail promotional items
? Communicate with departments such as Facilities and Conferences to address issues on campus that may be unsightly or unsafe for visitors
? Ensure visit and conference rooms are cleaned and prepared prior to each visit ? Work with Associate Director to confirm visitation webpage is up to date with language and dates
? Answer phone calls and respond to emails for the Visitation Center
? Assist in facilitating the successful programming and coordination of all open house and special events for Undergraduate Admissions
? Support and fill-in for Admissions Events Manager & Operations Specialist as needed
? Other duties assigned as needed to related to Events and Visitations

Qualifications

2. Bachelor's Degree required
3. Event planning experience preferred
4. Strong customer service skills
5. Ability to analyze data to make informed and creative decisions based on empirical information
6. Proven ability to effectively communicate in both writing and verbally
7. Flexible, team-oriented, collaborative, positive work ethic and attitude
8. Possess a valid Driver's License and suitable driving record.
9. Competence in desktop software, spreadsheet and database management

Adjunct faculty may be eligible for medical coverage under the ACA after an annual one year lookback review.
Part-time staff who are scheduled to work less than 30 hours per week schedule are eligible for employer contribution towards the retirement plan after one year of employment. Eligibility rules apply. Adjunct faculty may make employee deferral contributions towards the retirement plan.
Part-Time Graduate Assistant Coaches are eligible for participation in the Tuition Remission Coaches Program.
Temporary, Contractors and Seasonal Employees: Individuals in this status are scheduled on an as-needed-basis and are not eligible for participation in the University's benefits programs.
