Position Specific Summary
Student Office Assistants assist the Elliott School Office of Graduate Admissions staff in various tasks required to manage office workflow. The responsibilities include performing administrative office duties such as opening mail, scanning, filing documents, answering phones and emails, entering applicant/student data, greeting visitors, assisting with social media, leading prospective student tours and webinars, and helping at our events. Some evening hours will be requested with notice for 2-3 events on campus each semester.
Standard Position Description
The student will serve as an administrative assistant and perform tasks to support the operations of the the office or department. Task may include managing small to mid-level projects or events, responding to departmental inquiries, assist with communications and marketing, data entry, and other general office tasks. Special projects or duties may be assigned related to specific office needs.
