Job description

Overview
The Department of Curriculum & Teaching is seeking to hire a student intern with marketing and graphic design experience who can help faculty develop recruitment materials for various teacher education programs within the unit. The successful candidate will assist the department head and members of the department's recruitment taskforce craft a marketing message that aligns with the mission and vision of the department. They will also help create materials for print use and social media campaigns.
Responsibilities
  • Creating recruitment materials
  • Devising a marketing and communications plan to promote the department's teacher education programs
  • Coordinating a diverse range of communications services, strategies, events and projects targeting potential students

Qualifications
  • An undergraduate student enrolled at Auburn University
  • Experience with various marketing software, including Adobe
  • Experience using multimedia, including photography and video
  • Understanding and/or experience with the Auburn branding requirements
  • Prior experience or the potential to use social media analytics to drive communications delivery

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
