Scope

You prepare & process new commercial, agricultural, commercial real estate & agricultural real estate loans as well as support bank customers providing service in account management, documentation, customer service & technical support. ย You provide support to both consumer & business/ag bankers in all bank locations. You provide training & support for others on the credit team. You also make recommendations for improving banking functions & creating an AMAZING client experience!


Accountabilities

Loan Processing- 60%

You prepare documentation necessary to close agricultural, commercial, agricultural real estate, commercial real estate loans & HELOC's.

You review teammate's agricultural, commercial, agricultural real estate & commercial real estate loan documents for accuracy.ย 

You coordinate the process of closing new loans & renewals with the lender &/or loan assistant to ensure that necessary documents are created to properly close the loan.

You work with Title Companies to obtain preliminary & final title policies. Review title work for accuracy prior to closing.

You upload loans to core software; disburse funds, perfect collateral, set up files & credit track loans after loan has been closed.

You prepare documents necessary to close consumer loans as needed.

You verify loan input in core software.

You manage participation advances & payments. Support participation documentation as requested.

You complete & review UCC lien searches (Pre-close, Post Close & annual as needed).

You obtain credit reports as requested.

You update closed loans & release collateral.

You create & maintain consistent & organized loan files according to bank standards. Scan all documents received. Move old information to transfer files per procedures. Complete & submit reports as assigned.

You provide clerical services to the lending officers such as drafting correspondence, creating spreadsheets, making copies, filing & scanning documents.

You provide other market support to the market leader as assigned.


Loan Operations Administration- 20%

You balance the loan portfolio.

You provide training to new loan processors on preparing loan documents, uploading, disbursement of funds, perfecting collateral, scanning files, reporting & all other functions of their job description.

You review & qualify new loans for FHLB eligibility & complete the quarterly FHLB reporting.

You recommend & implement operational changes to improve efficiency.

You are an admin for various products/programs and manage & update them as needed.


Customer Service- 10%

You answer client inquiries on bank products, services, accounts & policies; promote cross selling; research & correct account discrepancies.ย 

You provide payoffs & collateral releases as requested.ย 


Other- 10%

You are required to achieve referral results based on annual targets communicated by supervisor.

You comply with organization policies, systems, process & procedures with a strong commitment to the overall direction & focus of the organization.

Education, Experience & Skills

- You have 1 or more year's related bank experience in loan operations or support

- You have a high numerical aptitude

- You are able to maintain confidential information

- You have the skills needed in a typical office environment, including computer skills & utilization of office equipment

- Experience with Jack Henry core system and Laserpro preferred


While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, attend meetings, etc. You have the ability to operate a computer, carry, handle & feel objects; reach with hands & arms; communicate effectively & efficiently in person & over the phone. You must occasionally lift &/or move up to 25 pounds or more with assistance. You have the ability to travel to other locations as needed. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception & the ability to adjust focus.
