Job description

Work Flexibility: Field-based
Sales Representative - Surgical Technologies (ST)
Step into a field-based sales role where you will promote, position, and sell Stryker's Surgical Technologies portfolio to physicians, surgeons, and healthcare providers across your territory. Lead product evaluations and support procedures in operating room and office-based settings while demonstrating the clinical and economic value of our solutions.
As the owner of your territory, you'll grow existing business, identify new opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and consistently achieve sales goals. You'll partner closely with your Regional Manager and serve as a trusted clinical and product resource, providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and an exceptional customer experience.
ST Product Portfolio:Surgical Technologies
What You Will Do
  • Drive territory performance by promoting and selling Surgical Technologies products while meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
  • Conduct product evaluations and demonstrations in clinical and procedural environments.
  • Support surgical procedures by providing on-site product expertise, guidance, and troubleshooting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, physicians, nurses, healthcare administrators, and purchasing teams.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Educate customers on product features, clinical applications, and economic value through in-services and training programs.
  • Track sales activity, customer interactions, and territory performance using approved business tools and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to develop territory plans, prioritize opportunities, and execute growth strategies.

What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years of quota-carrying outside sales experience in medical device, healthcare, or consultative sales environments; OR
  • Bachelor's degree and experience in a customer-facing, leadership, military, professional athletics, or another high-performance environment with interest in a sales career; OR
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in outside sales, business-to-business sales, or territory-based selling with a history of achieving performance goals.
  • Ability to provide in-person support during product evaluations and procedures in clinical environments.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds in a clinical environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory including but not limited to customer sites, healthcare facilities, and business meetings.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medical device, surgical, healthcare, or procedural sales.
  • Experience selling capital equipment or consumable products.
  • Experience calling on hospitals, health systems, ambulatory surgery centers, physician offices, or procedural accounts.
  • Experience supporting product evaluations, clinical procedures, or customer education programs.
