Project Manager - StruXure of the Rockies

D5 Capital

Arvada, CO • On-site

Full-time

Posted 4 days ago

Job description

Salary: $90,000-$100,000

Project Manager

StruXure of the Rockies (under D5 Capital Holdings) specializes in premium motorized pergola

systems, architectural outdoor structures that transform how homeowners and businesses live

and work outside. We operate at the intersection of design, precision fabrication, and skilled

installation, and we're growing fast. The Project Manager role is central to everything we deliver.

About the Role

The Project Manager owns the full lifecycle of every StruXure pergola project, from post-sale

handoff through final installation and customer sign-off. You're the link between sales, Central

Services, warehouse, and field crews, and the single point of accountability when it comes to

delivering projects on time, on budget, and to exacting manufacturer standards.

As this is a field role, you can expect to be on-site roughly 90% of the time. And while you won't

be managing employees directly, you'll build and manage a network of subcontract installation

crews to source, train, and ensure every job is held to the StruXure standard.

Nobody walks in the door already knowing how to build a StruXure pergola, that's not what

we're hiring for. What we need is someone with a solid construction background who picks

things up fast, takes ownership without being asked, and is ready to dig in immediately. We

have a backlog to clear, and we need a PM who's energized by that challenge rather than

overwhelmed by it.

What You'll Do

  • Own project execution end-to-end; kickoff, scheduling, material coordination, installationoversight, and customer close-out.
  • Spend the majority of your time in the field; on job sites, with crews, solving problems inreal time.
  • Review approved designs, site plans, and dimensional drawings; validate layouts beforework begins.
  • Build and maintain the production schedule across multiple concurrent jobs, coordinatingmaterial staging, deliveries, equipment, and crew availability.
  • Source, vet, onboard, and train subcontract installation crews; set clear expectations andhold them to it.
  • Conduct job site audits to ensure every installation meets StruXure manufacturerstandards.
  • Keep project costs tight; track labor and material spend against budget, catch overrunsearly, and course-correct before they compound.
  • Communicate proactively with customers throughout the project; schedule updates, siteconditions, milestone completions.
  • Document change orders, RFIs, and job status accurately in SalesForce and CompanyCam.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for crews during active installations, includingafter-hours.
  • Coordinate close-out documentation with Central Services and Accounting.

What You Bring

Required:

  • 5+ Years of strategic operations + project management.
  • Proven ability to read a job site, manage subcontract crews, and keep projects moving
  • without hand-holding.
  • Strong cost-tracking discipline; you know what a job should cost and you fight to keep it there.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, layouts, and dimensional drawings with confidence.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing a heavy project load simultaneously.
  • A fast learner; you haven't built this exact product before, and that doesn't faze you.
  • Clear, professional communication with customers, crews, and leadership.
  • Proficiency with cloud-based project management tools and mobile technology.
  • Flexibility for after-hours and weekend availability during active installations.
  • Valid driver's license; must pass background check in accordance with company and state laws.

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of hands-on construction project management experience; deck builds, full home builds, or similar residential construction scope.
  • Experience with decks, pergolas, shade structures, or other outdoor living installations.
  • Background in full home construction or residential remodeling.
  • Familiarity with framing, metal fabrication, or structural assembly.
  • Experience in a design-sell-install business model alongside a commissioned salesteam.
  • i360 experience or PMP/CPM designation a plus.

Why This Role Stands Out

This is a high-autonomy, high-accountability position with competitive pay, a bonus structure tiedto performance, and either mileage reimbursement or a company vehicle. You won't be

micromanaged, you'll be trusted to run your projects, manage your crews, and help us work

through a real and growing backlog of premium installs. If you're a construction-minded PM

who's organized, adaptable, and ready to own something, this is a strong fit.

Compensation: $80,000-100,000 base salary. Employees in this role may be eligible for bonuses, including performance-based incentives, as determined by company policy.
