Job description

A civil engineering firm located in multiple locations is seeking a Structural/Bridge Project Manager for their Effingham office!


Responsibilities:
  • Team member of Structural/Bridge Design Group
  • Manage projects by directing the design, coordinating work between staff/design team, and creating scope/budgets
  • Analyze and design bridges, culverts, foundations and other transportation-related and building structures
  • Main contact for clients, contractors and local officials
  • Prepare engineering project proposals
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
  • Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineer preferred
  • 8+ years of bridge design experience
  • Registered PE
  • Registered IL Structural Engineer
  • Project Management experience with DOT clients
  • Experience leading projects through collaboration with team and managing tasks
  • Proficient in MicroStation/ORD platforms and structural analysis/design software
  • Knowledge of bridge construction materials including Steel, Cast-in-Place Concrete, Precast Prestressed Concrete
  • Knowledge of construction methods, structural inspections, and construction document preparation

Salary is commensurate with experience.
