Position Overview

Augment Professional Services (APS) is seeking Structural Engineers to support design and construction of large-scale industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities.

The Structural Engineer will provide technical support for structural steel, concrete, foundations, equipment supports, platforms, and facility infrastructure while coordinating closely with architectural, mechanical, electrical, process, and construction teams.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Develop and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Support structural steel, reinforced concrete, foundations, equipment supports, and framing systems.
  • Review vendor loads and equipment interface requirements.
  • Coordinate structural design with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and field modifications.
  • Conduct site walks and evaluate field conditions.
  • Support construction issue resolution and constructability reviews.
  • Verify work against applicable codes, specifications, and design criteria.
QualificationsRequired Technical Skills
  • Structural engineering experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with structural steel and reinforced concrete design.
  • Ability to interpret structural drawings and calculations.
  • Knowledge of applicable structural codes and standards.
  • Experience coordinating equipment loads and multidisciplinary interfaces.
