Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural design, project execution, and client engagement for a wide range of building projects. This role will be responsible for managing engineering teams, performing structural analysis and design, ensuring project delivery within scope and budget, and acting as an Engineer of Record (EOR) when required.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in structural engineering across multiple materials, strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver innovative, practical, and client-focused engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage structural engineering projects, including planning, execution, and delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  2. Develop and maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.
  3. Act as Engineer of Record (EOR) for small to large-scale building projects and renovations.
  4. Perform structural design, analysis, and calculations for various structures using industry standards.
  5. Prepare and review engineering drawings, reports, and technical documentation.
  6. Monitor project progress, internal costs, and resource allocation to meet project and organizational goals.
  7. Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and professional development support.
  8. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  9. Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments for ongoing and completed projects.
  10. Identify innovative design approaches and implement efficient engineering solutions.
  11. Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and engineering standards.
  12. Support continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of new engineering technologies.
  13. Apply business and financial principles to ensure long-term project and organizational success.
  14. Prepare condition assessment reports and provide recommendations for structural improvements.
  15. Travel as required for project support and client meetings.
  16. Perform additional engineering and leadership duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  1. 8+ Years of experience in Structural Engineering.
  2. Must have Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) Or Structural Engineer (S.E.) License in Nevada.
  3. Hands-on experience in design software such as RISA, RAM, ETABS, SAFE, or Similar tools.
  4. Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred
