Position Overview
  • Job Title: Structural Engineer

  • Location: Melbourne, FL 32901 (Onsite Only)

  • Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6 Months, Contract-to-Hire Potential)

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift (9/80A), 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Pay Rate: $72.00 – $92.00 per hour

In this role, you will perform advanced structural analysis that directly supports the design, safety, and performance of aerospace systems—playing a key part in mission-critical aviation programs.


What You’ll Do

As a Structural Engineer, your work will include:

  • Performing static, dynamic, and damage tolerance (DaDT) analyses on metallic and composite airframe structures, mechanical systems, and equipment

  • Utilizing both hand calculations and advanced engineering tools for analysis and validation

  • Deriving non-flight applied loads and generating internal load distributions

  • Working with tools such as FEMAP, NX, Teamcenter, and other engineering software

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges

  • Prioritizing and managing multiple tasks to meet program deadlines

  • Developing innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with program standards


What You BringRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 10+ years of aerospace structural analysis experience, OR
    Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience, OR
    PhD with 5+ years of experience

  • Strong background in aerospace structural analysis

  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems and deliver effective solutions

  • Experience working in collaborative, team-based engineering environments

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

  • This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

  • Experience with flight-critical structural systems

Pay Details: $72.00 to $92.00 per hour
